En tant que chercheur quantique junior chez Ericsson à Montréal, QC, vous contribuerez à la stratégie technologique de l'entreprise en développant de nouveaux concepts et algorithmes quantiques pour des applications commerciales rentables, puis en transférant ces connaissances au développement de produits. La demande de talents spécialisés en informatique quantique est forte à Montréal et au Canada en général. Ce rôle offre la chance d'être à l'avant‑garde d'un domaine en évolution rapide avec un potentiel important de croissance de carrière à long terme.

What you will do:

• Perform, document and communicate research studies, measurements or computer simulations.
• Create new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
• Represent Ericsson in an external capacity such as standardization, university collaborations, and customer meetings.
• Develop evaluation tools, demonstrators or testbeds.
• Perform research, simulations and measurements related to quantum algorithms and quantum‑inspired computing.
• Collaborate with universities (e.g., University of Sherbrooke, University of Ottawa) and industry partners.
• Prototype evaluation tools, demonstrators and testbeds to validate concepts.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Postdoc in Quantum or completing this year.
• Experience in quantum algorithms and quantum‑inspired computing.
• Proven record of publications and/or patents in Quantum‑Inspired Computing or Quantum Computing.
• Expertise in hybrid classical‑quantum variational algorithms.
• Practical experience and expertise in software stacks for quantum computing (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, Q#, Python) and general software development.
• Knowledge of cloud and networking software stacks is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, creative thinking and independent work skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is required.

Salary range: $136,000 to $178,500 (Ottawa, Ontario).
