The role requires a degree in engineering and 7-10 years of experience in software testing and DO-178C guidelines. The Software Verification Test Lead will be responsible to work with India Engineering Center (IEC) and Local Supplier to complete proof of concept software verification tests of legacy programs. The successful incumbent will work with IEC to create/update the relevant S/W testing work instructions and work with both local supplier and IEC to fully execute the upcoming program test campaigns. The successful incumbent has a good knowledge of S/W verification testing and DO-178C. Software verification will be performed following RTCA DO-178C guidelines to support the engine type certification. He/she will also work closely with Collins Aerospace to obtain the required trainings, data or inputs for the team.
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
