Job description
Overview

A coordinator oversees their Tetra chapter – promoting Tetra to people with disabilities (often via other service providers), recruiting and overseeing volunteers and marketing Tetra to potential funders and supporters. For this position we are looking for someone in or near Lethbridge, Alberta.

We ask coordinators for up to 12-15 hours per month. All out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed and they receive $300 a month.

Responsibilities
  • Chapter development
  • Making presentations (to health professionals, disability organizations and potential volunteers)
  • Distributing promotional material (supplied by head office)
  • Marketing Tetra and creating awareness includes in person, online and (using various social media platforms)
  • Small event coordination
  • Contacting clients
  • Volunteer management and coordination
  • Screening, assessing and initiating projects
  • Working with head office to identify potential sources of funding
Requirements
