THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the FALL 2025 Semester for the DAYTIME – Full Stack Developer (FSD-15) October 20, 2025 – January 16, 2026. Monday-Friday (9:00-12:00 and 12:30-14:30).

TITLE: Foundations of Web Development

HOURS: 60

SECTION(S): one (1)

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent* degree in Computer Science or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industrial experience PREFERRED;
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED;
  • Excellent English communication skills REQUIRED;
  • Some testing may be REQUIRED.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.
  • Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
