Job summary

A leading security company is looking for a Casual Security Guard to ensure the safety of the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre. Responsibilities include patrolling the hospital grounds, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, first aid certification, and prior security experience. This is a part-time position based in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Qualifications

• Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C from a CSA-approved vendor.
• Valid Class 5 Driver License.
• Must provide Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises.
• Operate security cameras and alarm systems.
• Monitor entry points to the hospital.
• Act quickly in emergency situations.
• Assist visitors and staff with directions.
• Document daily activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement.
• Ensure hospital policies are followed.
