Qualifications

  • Valid Alberta Security Guard License required.
  • Valid First Aid Level 1 certification required.
  • Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Able to drive company vehicle for longer hours.
  • Able to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure protection of individuals and assets within the facility.
  • Escort detainees within the premises using restraints as necessary.
  • Monitor detainee behavior and report concerns.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and wellness checks.
  • Respond to emergency situations using tactical de-escalation.
