Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Alberta is seeking a Cash Manager to lead the Cash Department, manage resources and uphold service excellence while interfacing with other store teams. You will oversee cashier staff, recruit, schedule, train, and coach to meet store standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will also manage cash handling, promotions, loss prevention and financial controls, ensuring accurate banking, variance resolution and strong teamwork across departments.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Leads by example and ensures cashier staff demonstrate CORE Values.
• Interviews and recommends final candidates for hiring cashiers.
• Schedules cashier staff hours, days off and vacations within established guidelines.
• Trains employees in job functions and provides on-going coaching and instructions.
• Assists with completing performance reviews of cashier staff in conjunction with the FSM.
• Ensures exceptional customer service is provided beyond expectation.
• Ensures cashiers collect PC Optimum cards during transactions and promotes PC Optimum initiatives.
• Manages cash focused promotions/offers and keeps staff aware of weekly promotions and policies.
• Performs clerical/banking duties and maintains cash office/safe following Store Standards.
• Prints transaction exception reports and investigates variances; handles cash over/short.
