Job Title: Carpenter or Skilled Labourer Multiplex Units (Self-Motivated, Experienced)

Location: Thunder Bay, ON
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $25-45/hr

We are a growing construction company specializing in high-quality residential multiplex developments. Our team takes pride in delivering precision work, staying on schedule, and creating buildings that last. We’re looking for skilled, driven carpenters (including apprentices) or skilled labourers who take initiative and can own their role on-site with minimal supervision.

Position Summary

As a Carpenter – Multiplex Units, you’ll be responsible for framing, finishing, and general carpentry duties related to multi-family residential construction. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do next.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for multiplex construction
  • Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, flooring, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other installations
  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness on the job site
  • Solve problems on the fly and make smart decisions when plans change
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project timelines
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a carpenter in multi-unit residential or commercial construction
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and proactively identify next steps
  • Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and carpentry techniques
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in varied conditions
Preferred Qualifications

Red Seal or relevant trade certification (not mandatory but a plus)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with ability to be granted access to company vehicle
Own tools and PPE
