Job summary

A construction company in Calgary is seeking a skilled carpenter to read blueprints, prepare layouts, and assemble materials. Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and ideally 1–2 years of experience in carpentry. This position is on-site with no remote work options available.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient in using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls.
• Fit and install windows, doors, and stairs.
