Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' recent Canadian multi-provincial payroll processing experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment standards legislation across Canada.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees.
  • Maintain payroll data including garnishments and benefits.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by reviewing timesheet entries.

Skills

Payroll Compliance Professional designation
Two years' Canadian multi-provincial payroll experience
Advanced Excel skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of clerical accounting
Experience with Dayforce software

PCP designation or equivalent experience
