What you'll do
  1. Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality to achieve on-time delivery to customers.
  2. Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantities, and correct product codes.
  3. Ensure picked products are of the highest quality; avoid damaged items and select fresh products where applicable.
  4. Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation of pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
  5. Optimize tote fill by packing orders space-efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.
  6. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and provide service to resolve issues.
  7. Adhere to strict safety and food hygiene standards, maintain a clean work area, promptly clean up spills and debris, ensure totes are clean and debris-free before packing; operate material handling equipment safely and complete safety pre-inspection checks before use; demonstrate behaviors that support the organization’s mission and values.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality; show flexibility in completing or adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
