A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to draft plans for fibre optic networks. The role involves preparing permit drawings and construction documents in collaboration with an engineering team. The ideal candidate has a drafting background, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with GIS systems. You are an experienced CAD Technician, responsible for drafting plans and permit drawings for fibre optical telecommunication networks. You'll be an integral part of the engineering team and will design project using a variety of tools, ensuring constructability issues are incorporated into the network designs. Projects may include Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and broadband connectivity fibre optic construction projects. You are capable of taking a concept design and turning it into detailed permit drawings ready for submission to authorities and working with limited supervision.
