Job description
Title: Business Systems Analyst - Global Wealth Engineering Technology

Requisition ID: 235638

Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high‑performing culture.

The Global Wealth Engineering Technology team is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to play a critical role in shaping end‑to‑end business journeys and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role is focused on deep business understanding, story and journey mapping, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring solutions are designed around real user needs and deliver measurable business value.

You will work closely with business leaders, product partners, and delivery teams to define the “why” and “what” behind initiatives, while partnering with technical Business Analysts and engineering teams to bring those outcomes to life.

Is this role right for you? Key responsibilities include:

Business Analysis & Journey Mapping
  • Lead discovery activities to understand business objectives, user needs, and pain points across wealth management journeys.
  • Create and maintain end‑to‑end customer and advisor journey maps that highlight opportunities, dependencies, and value drivers.
  • Decompose complex business problems into clear themes, epics, and user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
Story Mapping & Requirements Definition
  • Facilitate story‑mapping workshops to align stakeholders on scope, sequencing, and incremental value delivery.
  • Translate business outcomes into structured functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Ensure requirements remain aligned to strategic objectives throughout delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership teams.
  • Lead working sessions, design discussions, and decision forums to drive alignment and clarity.
  • Clearly communicate trade‑offs, impacts, and dependencies in business terms.
Process Optimization & Change Enablement
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the design of future‑state processes that improve client, advisor, and operational experiences.
  • Contribute to change management by ensuring business readiness, clear documentation, and stakeholder buy‑in.
Delivery Support & Operational Awareness
  • Partner with technical analysts and delivery teams to ensure business intent is accurately reflected in solutions.
  • Support incident and production issue discussions by providing business context, impact assessment, and prioritization input.
  • Assist in identifying recurring issues and opportunities for process or experience improvements.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

Business & Domain Expertise
  • Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in complex, enterprise environments.
  • Solid understanding of wealth management, financial services, or regulated industries (preferred).
Journey & Story Mapping
  • Proven experience with customer journey mapping, story mapping, and value‑driven backlog design.
  • Ability to think holistically across channels, systems, and user personas.
Analytical & Problem‑Solving Skills
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured insights and actionable outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking with a focus on delivering business value.
Communication & Facilitation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to executive and operational audiences.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, working sessions, and cross‑functional discussions.
Delivery & Ways of Working
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Comfortable partnering with technology teams while remaining grounded in business outcomes rather than technical implementation.
