Overview

Our client, a large financial institution, is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence & Analytics Consultant to support their ongoing data migration and reporting enhancement initiatives. This role has two functions, first focusing on creating reports and optimizing data and reporting workflows to drive effective trading strategies and performance analytics. The second is to help with data mapping and testing on the migration of data from one data warehouse to another.

***This role is hybrid 2-3 days a week in office

Key Responsibilities

• Data Migration & Transformation: Partner with business and technology teams to map and transition existing data from current data lake to new, ensuring data quality and continuity
• Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and enhance BI reports for middle and front office functions to support self-service reporting capabilities for investment strategies
• Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather specifications, identify potential data improvements, and define detailed technical and business requirements
• Analytics Development: Design and implement performance analytics solutions, ensuring accurate and efficient data flows for reporting purposes
• Business & Technology Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring smooth integration of BI solutions that align with organizational goals

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience:
  • 3+ years experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role within financial services, insurance, or investment sectors
  • Hands‑on experience with data warehousing and SQL
