Role: Business Director

About the role:

The Business Director ensures the smooth running of this business. As the senior point of contact for our client, they will be responsible for oversight and direction of all agency productions, managing the agency team and the P&L.

What you will be doing:

  • Monthly meetings with senior client team
  • P&L management, running reports to ensure the business is profitable
  • One on one meetings with team members, both account and creative
  • Taking a lead in clients’ marketing and advertising strategies, driving conversations to push the boundaries on creative in briefing sessions
  • Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients
  • Making staffing decisions on the existing team
  • Using your account leadership skills to push clients, and the agency, creatively and strategically

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 10+ years of experience in an account role, preferably from advertising agency
  • 5+ years of experience managing an account with print, digital and video work
  • Experience in professional client relationship management with Director level and above
  • A background in advertising, design or marketing
  • The ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • An understanding of the creative process for digital, on-line content, eComm and print
  • A persuasive and confident approach to client relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Understanding of the Oliver agency model and how work gets done
  • The base salary for this position may range from $123,250.00 to $137,750.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
