Business Development Executive needed at Altis Recruitment Ontario, Canada

Altis Recruitment & Technology is seeking strategic and results-oriented Business Developers with 2-3 years of sales experience to support our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will excel in building, developing, and nurturing new partnerships and client relationships, demonstrating excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire, engage, and negotiate with potential clients.

This role offers a remote work environment with flexible days after 6 months (2 on-call but fully paid days per month), a competitive compensation and benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and career advancement, including comprehensive training in the staffing industry. The position involves collaborating across various business streams to develop effective strategies for success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Identifying, prospecting, and generating new business opportunities to meet sales targets and drive revenue.
  2. Building networks and expanding prospect lists.
  3. Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes across Canada.
  4. Developing and maintaining relationships with key hiring decision-makers.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth staffing processes.
  6. Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to showcase services and address client needs.
  7. Marketing top talent to prospective clients effectively.
  8. Participating in industry events to enhance brand visibility and grow networks.
  9. Staying updated on industry trends and sharing insights with the team.
  10. Sourcing opportunities within existing and new accounts and monitoring growth.
  11. Developing account growth strategies based on client needs and motivations.
  12. Maintaining strategic customer relationships through follow-up and engagement.
  13. Converting leads into job orders and managing contract negotiations and renewals.
  14. Assisting with account transitions and re-engaging former clients.
  15. Engaging clients on market trends and acting as a subject matter expert.
  16. Monitoring revenue trends and developing strategies to increase market share.
  17. Reporting on sales goals and prospect engagement, maintaining CRM data.
  18. Providing insights on labour market trends and recruitment challenges.
  19. Working with Account Managers and Recruitment Partners to meet client expectations.
  20. Participating in client meetings and leading technology adoption initiatives.
  21. Handling MSA delivery and renewal negotiations.
  22. Promoting Altis content and cross-selling services.
  23. Building client relationships through engaging content and sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in B2B.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in phone sales and face-to-face meetings.
