A healthcare organization in Hamilton is seeking a Business Clerk to provide administrative support to its healthcare team. The ideal candidate will manage clinic schedules, coordinate with patients, and require skills in effective communication and organization. This full-time role will be primarily on-site, fostering a collaborative environment within the community.

As a member of the healthcare team, the Business Clerk (BC) provides clerical, administrative and business support to the healthcare team. The BC will be required to coordinate and reduce barriers, by working with different groups of people: patients, healthcare teams and resource providers. The BC role requires empathy, compassion and an understanding of the cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in the community to service the patients.
This role will be responsible for managing the GIMRAC/GIM (General Internal Medicine) clinic schedule, Medical Day Care and Procedure Room booking as well as general patient registration for the clinic.
