Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Workday business processes, primarily within HCM, Compensation, and Security.
  • Own intake and documentation for projects and major initiatives per PDLC methodology.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation for owned applications.
  • Execute and manage Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and related documentation.
  • Partner with Technology teams to ensure business, data governance, and quality requirements are met.
  • Review requirements and technical design documents, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide solution options, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder recommendations.
  • Act as an escalation point for application and operational issues.
  • Support deployment, change management, and post-release stabilization.
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple initiatives while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert, guiding others within the Workday domain.

Skills

About the Role The Business Application Analyst (Workday) is a senior-level role supporting enterprise HR applications within a large financial institution.
