The Building Operator is located at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC and reports directly to the Facility Manager.
Under specific direction, the FMO Building Operator responds to tenant requests, performs preventive maintenance inspections, and minor repairs, to ensure continuing operation. This position involves working a rotating 12 hour shift schedule (two days on, two nights on, four days off). The Building Operator will fulfill day to day tasks in a timely manner ensuring that the building operates safely and efficiently. The position also requires compliance with Black & McDonald codes of conduct, health, safety and environmental policies and safe work practices along with any client specific protocol.

Due to many mandatory vaccination requirements at client projects / facilities, in order to provide substantial employment by ensuring compliance with our clients mandates, the successful candidate must be able to validate full vaccination prior to hire.
Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $36.33-45.42/hour in accordance with union rates (dependent on skills and experience and trade certifications).
