Boutique Manager – Watches & Fine Jewelry

Location: CHANEL Oakridge Boutique (Vancouver)
Reports To: Boutique Director
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, as of Spring 2026

Your Role @ Chanel

As the Watches & Fine Jewelry Manager, you are an ambassador of the CHANEL brand, overseeing the daily operations of the Watches and Fine Jewelry boutique within the Oakridge CHANEL Boutique. You will be responsible to simultaneously drive exceptional client experience while achieving sales goals. You will lead by example, fostering team collaboration and ensuring adherence to CHANEL’s standards in all aspects of boutique operations, merchandising, and client relations.

What impact you can create at CHANEL
Personal Presentation / Image
  • Ensure the boutique is fully staffed, with all team members adhering to CHANEL grooming guidelines and wearing appropriate uniforms;
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting boutique environment, including client-facing areas, stockrooms, and staff spaces;
  • Ensure high standards of personal presentation for all team members, reflecting the CHANEL brand at all times.
Client Experience / Client Relations
  • Cultivate a client-centric culture that both nurtures client loyalty and focuses on new client recruitment;
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service, providing personal attention to VIP clients while guiding the team to uphold CHANEL standards;
  • Establish, maintain, and encourage strong client relationships through exceptional service, consultations, and thoughtful follow-ups;
  • Oversee the maintenance of the client database, ensuring accurate CRM data collection and analysis to enhance customer engagement.
Selling
  • Achieve financial and strategic objectives by setting and monitoring team goals and ensuring a focus on sales performance;
  • Coach and support the team in developing strategies to enhance and grow their sales opportunities and pipeline;
  • Develop and apply expert product knowledge and selling skills, encouraging the team to maximize every sales opportunity;
  • Leverage marketing and events to build the client base and drive traffic to the boutique.
Team Spirit
  • Inspire and lead the team through hands‑on coaching and effective communication, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment;
  • Address performance management issues such as motivation, attendance, and time‑keeping promptly and effectively;
  • Coordinate schedules, breaks, and team organization to ensure optimal floor coverage and productivity;
  • Ensure confidentiality of CHANEL’s internal operations and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
Boutique Operations
  • Monitor boutique operations, ensuring compliance with company policies on security, payments, and returns;
  • Work with the Boutique Director and Head Office to manage budgets, events, and operational improvements;
  • Oversee stock management, ensuring accurate inventory control and preventing discrepancies or loss.
Merchandising/Image/Product
  • Work closely and proactively with Head Office teams regarding merchandise‑related issues;
  • Collaborate with the team to implement CHANEL visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring the boutique reflects the brand’s identity;
  • Monitor the presentation and replenishment of products, ensuring displays are aligned with brand standards.
Training/Personal Development
  • Participate in and facilitate training programs to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and client relationship management;
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support for team members, identifying areas for development and fostering growth opportunities.
