What you'll bring / Ce que vous apportez :

  • Minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
  • Ability to provide your CRA RepID (representative identifier) for client representation services upon onboarding.
  • Experience using professional tax software to prepare and file personal tax returns, including complex situations such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
  • Passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities and commitment to enhancing our brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
  • Excellent customer service skills and comfort interacting via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Additional Qualifications / Qualifications complémentaires :

  • Experience with Business Tax (T2) returns.
  • Experience with Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.

  • Research / Resourcefulness – Curiosity and continuous learning; confident in following procedures and seeking solutions.
  • Technical skills – Basic troubleshooting and familiarity with necessary tools.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including hourly pay from $24.50 to $33.50 depending on location, performance bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location. We regularly review pay equity across categories of ethnicity and gender.

How you will lead / Comment vous allez diriger :

  • Assist clients in completing their income tax returns using TurboImpôt, providing guidance and reviewing self-prepared returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and communicate clear, understandable answers.
  • This is a virtual, client-facing role, utilizing advanced video communication tools and maintaining detailed records of interactions.
