Job description
Overview

Role Description: Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Bilingual Project Coordinator will be the day-to-day contact for our clients on their digital projects (websites, web applications and/or mobile Apps). They will oversee every step of the project journey, ensuring the client is well educated and informed from kick off to project launch. They will also be responsible for validating French content. The Bilingual Project Coordinator will work closely with team members on the Projects team to communicate decision points on the project, provide context around deliverables, mitigate project risks and achieve deadlines. They will be responsible for preparing documentation, communicating with the client and ensuring project timelines and milestones are met.

Work Hours: full-time, 37.5 hours

Location: Hybrid – remote and at our Guelph location or fully remote

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Ability to lead discovery sessions with groups of up to 20 people in both French and English
  • Manage multiple project timelines, budgets and resources at one time
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to proactively identify risks and opportunities for projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt communication based each client’s needs
  • Ability to translate clients requirements to actionable items for execution by the project team
  • Ability to communicate technical recommendations from developers, designers and quality assurance & accessibility coordinators to the client to gain alignment
  • Is detail-oriented and quality driven
  • Strong organization skills, including using and managing project management tools for the team
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG and AODA)
  • Familiar with web technologies, Content Management Systems such as WordPress and UX/UI best practices
  • Ability to converse fluently with clients in French, and review French content and translate it to client’s digital solutions
  • Experience leading digital projects in the public sector, healthcare or non-profits is an asset
Compensation
