Our client in Southwest Region, ON is actively looking for a Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with – years of payroll experience who is eager to grow long-term within a supportive finance and accounting environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle payroll for ,+ employees accurately and on time
  • Handle payroll and reporting in both French and English
  • Complete bank reconciliations and cheque balancing
  • Prepare and submit government remittances and compliance reports
  • Generate and distribute peer reports and year-end Ts
  • Maintain employee records within PeopleSoft software
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to support payroll and related functions
  • Contribute to process improvements and assist with ad-hoc payroll tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • years of payroll experience, ideally within a finance and accounting environment
  • Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft software preferred
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume payroll (,+ employees)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, government submissions, and T preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communicator and effective team player
  • PCP designation an asset
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within the company long term
