Our Ideal Candidate

Allnorth Land Surveyors is looking for an experienced BC Land Surveyor to lead the land surveying services business in Kamloops. The successful candidate will work with a highly experienced and motivated team to deliver land survey services to an existing and broad client base throughout Kamloops and surrounding area.

A Day in the Life

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the supervision, direction and control of land surveying services related to a variety of projects. This will include planning, directing and conducting legal surveys for the determination, establishment and location of real property boundaries and natural or human made features. You will prepare and maintain drawings, official plans, records and documents pertaining to these surveys. In addition, you will also be responsible for other surveying services such as topographic, hydrographic surveys, precise construction layout, "as built" surveys and deformation surveys.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • 5-8 years of experience in legal land surveying
  • Registered as a Professional BC Land Surveyor
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering would be an asset
  • Must be knowledgeable in the statutes, regulations, and practices of the Land Surveyors Act and Land Title Act, Local Government Act, Land Act and Land Survey Act
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Technical competence and strong attention to detail
