Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Ontario, Canada is seeking an AZ Driver to transport materials between assigned locations following the approved run schedule. The role requires safe operation of AZ/DZ equipment, professional interaction with customers, accurate logging, and completion of trip and inspection reports.

You must have a valid AZ license with air brake endorsement, a clean CVOR/driver's abstract, and experience with 13- or 18-speed transmissions.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license with Air Brake (Endorsement) required.
• CVOR and driving abstract with minimal demerit points required.
• Experience with 13- and/or 18-speed manual transmissions preferred.
• Professional communication skills (verbal/written) and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ/DZ vehicles (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-off, Lugger).
• Transport materials along efficient routes and ensure cargo safety.
• Maintain professional presentation when interacting with customers.
• Accurately complete driver logbook/Elog and inspection reports.
• Perform other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

The AZ Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to and from assigned locations while adhering to the established run schedule. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for operating assigned vehicles in a safe, efficient and effective manner while adhering to the rules and regulations of the road.

Day Shift

• Week 1) Tuesday – Saturday 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
• Week 2) Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM

What’s Expected

• Operate AZ/DZ (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-Off and Lugger Truck);
• Transport materials utilizing most efficient routs;
• Ensure safety and security of cargo;
• Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers;
• Accurate completion of driver logbook/Elog;
• Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
• Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

You Have

• Valid AZ License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
• Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with minimal demerit points and/or reported incidents;
• Experience with 13, and/or 18 speed manual transmission
• Previous experience operating Roll Off, Luger, preferred but not required.
• Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.
