Triple M Metal LP in Brampton, Canada, is seeking a skilled Diesel/Heavy Equipment Technician to service and repair electrical and diesel systems on construction and industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose faults with tester tools, perform maintenance and rebuilds, and ensure safe operation.

The role requires 310T Truck and Coach Certification, your own tools, and a commitment to quality. Shifts are Monday to Friday 9:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Certification.
• Own tools and ability to work independently.
• Mathematical aptitude and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, service and repair electrical and diesel systems.
• Diagnose faults using testing equipment.
• Service and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete reports of problems and work performed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Shift

• Monday to Friday 9:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

What We Expect You To Do

• Troubleshoot, service and repair/replace the following: Electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, steering and suspension, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, cooling and heating systems, perform maintenance as per assigned work order.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Service, maintenance and/or overhaul diesel engines, mechanical and hydraulic transmissions.
• Service, maintenance and/or overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

You Have

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Certification
• Have your own tools
• Mathematically inclined

Nice To Have

• Completed or enrolled in Drive on Program
• Has experience writing safety’s
