Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Brampton, ON, is seeking an AZ Driver to join our team. The role involves transporting goods to and from assigned locations, operating Roll-off and Lugger trucks, and upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Starting wage is $29.22 per hour for afternoon shift, Monday to Friday 4:00pm–1:00am with overtime as required. Applicants must have an AZ license with Air Brake endorsement, a valid CVOR, a clean driver abstract, and experience with manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• AZ license with Air Brake (Z) endorsement required.
• CVOR and driver abstract with minimal demerit points/ incidents.
• Experience with 13- and/or 18-speed manual transmissions preferred.
• Two years of Roll-off truck driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) tractors, Roll-off and Lugger trucks as assigned.
• Transport materials using efficient routes and maintain on-time schedules.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo during transport.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and complete pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections.
• Handle other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of AZ Driver The position will be stationed at our 471 Intermodal Drive location in Brampton, ON. This position will be responsible for transporting goods to and from assigned locations while adhering to time schedules in a timely manner, while operating assigned Roll-off or Lugger trucks in a safe, efficient and effective manner while adhering to the rules and regulations of the road. Afternoon Shift:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00pm - 1:00 am (Overtime as required). Weekends as required.

What we expect you to do:

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-Off and Lugger Truck);
• Transport materials utilizing most efficient routs;
• Ensure safety and security of cargo;
• Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers;
• Accurate completion of driver logbook;
• Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
• Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

You have:

• Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP’s Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.
• Valid AZ License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
• Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with minimal demerit points and/or reported incidents;
• Experience with 13,and/or 18 speed manual transmission
• Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.
• Two years of Roll-off Truck Driving experience preferred
