Job summary

Job description

At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair leveraging the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. You hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of Ontario.

We are looking for automotive technicians who can work independently as well as collaboratively with peers in a full-service facility to support a culture of success.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
• Tires and tire repair
• Car heating and air conditioning
• Steering and suspension
• Belt and hose maintenance
• Radiator and engine cooling systems
• Batteries, starting and charging
• Brake repair
• Mufflers and exhaust services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Track record of high personal productivity
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic tools
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
• Able to service both import and domestic vehicles

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
