Overview

As an Associate – Technical Development Program, you will partake in the Wesco Sales & Operations Development Program. This twelve-month training program is designed to prepare associates for technical or engineering positions within Wesco. You will develop strong technical skills and overall business acumen, gain product and industry knowledge, and expand your professional networks throughout Wesco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field – Mechatronics engineering, electrical engineering technologist, or electrical engineering degree preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in an engineering/Automation role.
• Desire to build a career in automation.
• Team player mindset.
• Excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel – local and national.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI.
• 0-2 years of experience working in B2B industrial distribution.
• Ability to travel 0-25%.

Training

• Program Orientation (In-person) – Near Chicago or Pittsburgh.
