A global law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with experience in first party property and coverage disputes. The successful candidate will manage complex insurance matters and develop their career in a reputable environment. Strong litigation skills and at least 3 years' experience are required. Due to demand, Kennedys is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate, with first party property and coverage experience to join our growing national Insurance team, based in either our Sydney, Perth or Melbourne office.
The successful candidate will work on a mix of complex general insurance matters involving coverage, property liability, 1stparty property & professional indemnity issues.
The role includes handling high value, complex coverage disputes as well as having carriage of defence instructions on behalf of insurers for a range of organisations, construction professionals and corporate service providers. The role also includes handling large subrogated recoveries.

You will work closely with our interstate offices and partners with extensive experience across multiple lines of insurance work, with a particular depth of expertise in professional indemnity, financial institutions, directors' and officers' (D&O), property and construction, to name a few.
