The Associate Insurance Advisor III plays a key role in supporting and developing the agency operation. This role involves inbound and outbound sales and service for commercial and farm products, utilizing a broad knowledge of Co-operators specialty lines.

How you will create impact :

  • Inbound sales, service, and profitable growth of commercial and farm products.
  • Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
  • Focus on prospecting across all lines of business by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit clients.
  • Complete front-line risk assessments and selections following underwriting guidelines, including inspections and re-inspections.
  • Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity, contributing to overall agency sales and growth targets.
  • Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Proactively review client portfolios for commercial and farm insurance.

To join our team :

  • Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience, including sales.
  • Commercial insurance experience is an asset.
  • BC Level two license or ability to obtain L2 license within 60 days.
  • Life License is an asset.
  • Meet provincial licensing requirements and maintain licenses through continuing education.

  • You must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients’ financial and personal information.
  • This role involves direct contact with clients and service providers in their environment.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
  • You will undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check if selected.
