Job Title: Associate – Finance & Digital Marketing

Location: Cambridge, Ontario

Reports To: President and General Manager

Job Type: Full-Time In-Person

Job Summary

Industrial Power & Control Inc. is an automation solution provider based in Cambridge, Ontario with customers and secondary operations located throughout North America. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate – Finance & Digital Marketing to support both financial operations and digital marketing initiatives. This hybrid role requires a professional who can manage receivables, payables and financial analysis while also driving online brand awareness and digital campaign performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative and detail oriented with a natural aptitude for organized work. Basic skills training will be provided but it is expected that the successful candidate will continuously learn and evolve the role with a sense of ownership to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance:
    • Analyze financial data to support company leadership and strategic decision-making
    • Work closely with vendors and customers to manage billing and reconciliations
    • Continuously monitor and revise competitive pricing strategies
    • Finance leader / resource for all departments including sales, marketing and warehousing teams
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Assist in developing, executing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns in co-operation with an existing senior marketing colleague
    • Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations with actionable insights
    • Support content creation for digital platforms including social media, email newsletters and websites
    • Monitor website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and suggest optimization strategies
    • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for digital initiatives
    • Stay current with industry trends and digital tools to enhance online presence
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Inquisitive personality who likes to dig into financial records to solve problems
  • Enjoys interacting with customers, vendors and co-workers
  • Comfortable coaching / collaborating with others
  • Friendly “can-do” attitude toward new projects and assignments
  • Proficiency in CRM / ERP software (e.g., NetSuite or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experience with digital marketing tools including Shopify, Canva, Figma, organic SEO strategy, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Microsoft ads, Mailchimp and common social media platforms
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
What We Offer
  • Base salary of $65,000 per year
  • Corporate profit sharing at 1% of company quarterly gross margin
  • 2 weeks paid vacation per year (10 days).Additional 1 day of vacation each calendar year to a maximum of 4 weeks paid vacation per year
  • Up to 2 paid personal leave days and up to 10 unpaid personal leave days per year
  • Benefits package (employer / employee co-pay)
  • Work week based on 8:30 am start and 5:00 pm end, Monday to Friday, in-person at 250 Pinebush Road, Cambridge, Ontario
