Associate Dean, Health Sciences & Director, School of Nursing Faculty of Health Sciences - Hamilton, ON

McMaster University is located in Hamilton, a vibrant city on the western edge of Lake Ontario.

Responsibilities

As Associate Dean and Director, reporting to the Dean and Vice-President, Faculty of Health Sciences, you will:

  • Provide academic and administrative oversight to the School’s educational, research, financial, and clinical activities.
  • Serve as Director of the McMaster-Mohawk-Conestoga Nursing Consortium.
  • Be a key member of the Faculty Executive Council, which oversees faculty-wide issues.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a respected and internationally recognized scholar, strategic leader and academic administrator who demonstrates vision, champions change and innovation, develops people, and fosters a cohesive community of faculty, staff, and students. Requirements include:

  • PhD in nursing or a related discipline.

  • Eligibility for licensing as a Registered Nurse in the Province of Ontario.
