Job summary

A leading mutual insurance provider is seeking an Associate Claims Advisor, Auto, to investigate claims and deliver exceptional customer service. This hybrid role expects regular attendance at the Cambridge facility twice weekly. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of customer service experience, effective communication skills, and a strong desire to grow in the insurance sector. Successful applicants will join a dynamic team focused on providing support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate loss and misfortune.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of prior customer service experience.
  • Insurance industry experience, call center experience, or experience within a brokerage setting is helpful.
  • Interested in pursuing a CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional Designation).

Responsibilities

  • Investigate claims and determine coverage under a customer's policy.
  • Inform and educate customers about the claims process.
  • Process claims payments and ensure accurate information is captured within our claims system.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers and brokers.

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure mutual understanding and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
