Overview

Our client who services the entertainment industry is looking to add an Associate (Accountant) to their dynamic and growing team. This position reports directly to the Partners, Principals and Senior Associates, and works closely with them to provide gold standard service to their client base. A successful candidate will not only be responsible for a full suite of client-related matters, but also be dynamic in nature to positively impact the firm\'s overall practices.

Responsibilities
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable administration
  • Cash flow projections
  • Cash management
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Royalty tracking
  • Budget preparation
  • Budget vs actual report generation and analysis
  • Spot audits of tour settlements
  • Tour float reconciliations
  • Subsidy preparations
  • GST / HST reconciliation and filing preparation
  • Source deduction reconciliation and remittance
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate accounting
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products as well as QuickBooks Online would be an asset
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
