Overview

Welcome to Bisou ! French Bakery in Toronto.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team! The job consists of making coffee, plating, serving customers & participating in our events. We are looking for an individual that has a passion for food, wine & service and is ready to contribute to the positive energy we thrive for!

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager to manage ordering and obtaining supplies.
  • Communicate/report any issues or incidents happening in the store with management and Human Resources.
  • Smooth running of the team when Manager is not here.
  • Coffee knowledge.
  • Line cook knowledge - set plates.
  • Quality control of all supplies, food, drink/beverages, kitchen hygiene and health and safety.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchen to create a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Knowledge of all the food served.
  • Contribute to training and development of the team.
  • Manage customers’ expectations and assist in dealing with and solving all queries.
  • Manage and coordinate food and beverages.
  • Maintaining accurate records and accounts as required and reporting as agreed.
  • Manage front of house duties to include taking and serving orders, cleaning and preparing tables, preparing bills and taking payment.
  • Set an example for the team members of commitment, work ethic and personal character.
  • You will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing schedules and demands.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation, monitor food presentation and address any issues or concerns related to food quality.
