Work setting: Urban area – Bicycle store, Department store, Retail business, Sports, Clothing store
Work location: On site

Salary: CAD 64,000 – 83,000 per year (negotiable) – Full time, 40 hours/week
Employment terms: Permanent employment, Day/Evening/Flexible hours as determined – Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Determine staffing requirements
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Conduct performance reviews
Qualifications

Education

  • College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1‑2 years, or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 5 years or more in a retail or sports‑equipment setting

Computer and technology knowledge
