Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing for external audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality‑related issues and non‑conformances.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date quality documentation, including inspection records, audit reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management.
  • Assist in training employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits and assessments as needed.
Qualifications
  • Technologist/Technician Diploma in Engineering required.
  • Certification as an CQE would be an asset.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques; including knowledge of quality management systems, as well as design output, metrology and instrumentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Working Conditions
  • The role may require occasional travel to supplier sites and other company locations.
  • Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, and other industrial hazards.
