Position Summary

The Faculty of Social Work invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions for the Bilingual Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program in English and French. One position will be based in Regina and the other in Saskatoon. Applicants should indicate their location preference in their cover letter (Regina or Saskatoon).

  • Teach BSW courses in both English and French using a range of instructional modalities, including hybrid and flexible delivery formats.
  • Conduct research in social work practice, education, or policy.
  • Supervise graduate students.
  • Contribute to the administrative structure of the Faculty of Social Work.
Qualifications
  • PhD in social work preferred; ABD or PhD in a related area with BSW or MSW acceptable.
  • Record of research and teaching in social work practice, education, or policy.
  • Bilingual in French and English (both speaking and writing).
  • Knowledge of francophone minority communities in Canada, including francophone immigrant and newcomer communities.
Salary & Work Hours
  • Pay Grade: Faculty Assistant Professor; Salary Range: $101,603 – $128,323 per annum (commensurate with qualifications).
  • Work Hours: As required by responsibilities and defined by the Dean.
