Solidy is looking for a mid-senior Android Developer who can build and maintain functional applications across Android-based devices and help us attract our target audience. The candidate would require to design, develop and test Android applications for a vast number of diverse Android devices and their integration with the back‑end services.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for Android devices on the Android platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Maintain code integrity, quality, organization, and automatization
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Design application updates over the period
• Go through the trending applications in the market and implement new technologies accordingly to increase efficiency
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Work closely with project managers in an agile environment

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• 3‑6 years of Android OS development experience
• Experience with Jetpack Compose (Layouts, Modifier, animations, design system, typography, side effects, CompositionLocal, navigation)Experience with Kotlin, Java programming languages
• Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Excellent knowledge of Russian
• Good time‑management, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize personal workload
