Qualifications

  • Holder of AME license or equivalency.
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or the applicable governing body).
  • Good communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory.
  • Basic Computer Skills: word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
  • Specific knowledge of aircraft structures and/or composites.
  • Ability to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
  • Safe work practices and techniques.
  • Basic coaching and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all paperwork and reporting associated with repairs is completed accurately.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills

Pay Rate: $33.35 – $38.58 / hour

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation and reporting associated with a repair is completed accurately
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately, and that appropriate skills to progress in the trade are developed
  • Ensure all work tasks are performed in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:

  • Holder of AME license or equivalency
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or the applicable governing body)

  • Specific knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair and modification of aircraft or systems and components in the areas of Structures and/or Composites
  • Ability to ensure that approved standards of quality control are maintained

  • Basic coaching and leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $33.35-$38.58 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
