Aircraft Level Systems Engineering Professional, MBSE and Digital Engineering

As an aircraft‑level systems engineering professional within the Product Integration (aircraft architecture) team, you will contribute to the development, maturation and deployment of the company’s Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering (DE) capabilities. You will support the definition of methods, processes and model‑based workflows that enable consistent aircraft system architecture development across programs. You will also contribute to Research & Technology projects and participate in the early adoption and pilot project use of digital toolchains that integrate MBSE practices in everyday engineering activities, helping prepare these capabilities future product development programs.

  • Develop andmaintainSystems Engineering practicesthatincorporategreater use of model‑based techniques, enabling consistent and rigorous application of SE principlesby system engineers across the organization.
  • Define, mature, document and continuously supportMBSE and DE methods, processes andmodelingpracticesthat supportaircraft‑level systems engineering.
  • Integrate MBSE workflows into the broader digital engineering ecosystem (requirements, modeling & simulation, and configuration management tools), developing scripting and automation.
  • Supportthe creation,evolutionand configuration‑controlled maintenanceof system architecture modelsincludingrequirements, functional analysis, interfacedefinitionand verification and validation planning and traceability artefacts.
  • Lead cross‑functional activities forrequirementselicitation, maturation,decompositionand validation,ensuringrobust definition of the problem and solution spaces.
  • Performaircraft‑level analysesincluding trade studies, feasibilityassessmentsand early requirement allocation to supportaircraftarchitecture development and decision‑making.
  • Providetraining,supportandmentoring toengineers fromdiversedisciplineson MBSE processes and tools,helpingthe transition to model‑based practices.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold aBachelor’s orMaster’sdegreeinAerospaceorMechanicalengineering,orarelated field,ideallycomplemented byformal training in Systems Engineering.
  • You have5+yearsofrelevant experience in SystemsEngineeringin a product development environment.Experience in anotheraircraftengineering domain – such as mechanicalorelectrical systems,structuresoraerodynamics– is astrongasset.
  • You are familiar with requirements management (RM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as Teamcenter, DOORS, Jama, Polarionetc.
  • You are proficient with one or more MBSE modeling languages (SysML,UAFetc.), methodologies (OOSEM,Arcadiaetc.) and tools (Cameo, Capella,Rhapsodyetc.).
  • Youhave hands‑onexperience withscripting and automationto supportdigital thread processesand data/model integration.Knowledge of interoperability standards and semantic/web technologies is an asset.
  • Youhave an understandingofapplicabledevelopmentstandards such as ARP4754B, ARP4761A, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288for model‑based compliance.
  • You areopen‑minded, curious, rigorousand methodical.
  • You bring stronganalytical andsystems‑thinkingskills, with the ability to structure complex problems and maintainclarity across disciplines.
  • You are passionate about innovating engineering – and aerospace technology in particular –andaremotivated by long‑term goals.
  • You haveexcellent written and verbalcommunication skills and naturallytailor yourmessageto suit the audience.Experienceteaching or coachingisan asset.
  • Youcommunicate technical concepts, projectstatusand risks clearly and succinctly to stakeholders at allorganizational levels.
