Your future role on our team
You’ll report to the team leader for Operational Solutions and provide essential administrative and operational support to our organization. Initially, you’ll be managing technology assets daily and supporting purchasing activities, while gradually building your knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud environment optimization. This role will help you develop your skills and prepare for more strategic responsibilities.
In the short term, you'll help maintain accurate inventories, control costs and track asset life cycles. In the medium term, you'll help analyze IT costs and set up dashboards and cloud optimization initiatives.

Asset and procurement management
- Manage software, hardware and accessory inventories and their retirement
- Perform day-to-day tasks related to acquiring, allocating and retiring IT assets
- Help prepare purchase requests and track orders, renewals and receipts
- Maintain hardware and software compliance based on established standards
- Manage IT contracts
- Support the M&A process by establishing IT inventories
- Serve as a contact point with internal teams and suppliers for all IT asset matters
- Produce regular reports on assets and costs
Introduction to FinOps analysis and cloud optimization
- Monitor costs and use of specialized software and cloud resources (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Help prepare budget and forecast reports
- Help document CAPEX/OPEX allocations and internal chargeback and showback models
- Support dashboard development (Power BI, Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer), under supervision
- Learn best practices for optimizing cloud costs (rightsizing, removing unused resources)
Collaboration and continuous improvement
- Work with the Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Digital Workplace, Development, Operations and Finance teams
- Help develop and update internal procedures and guides
- Learn agile methods and take part in team activities

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- College diploma or university degree in administration, finance, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least two years of IT experience
- Basic knowledge of corporate IT hardware (servers, workstations, software)
- Proficient with Excel (data analysis and formatting)
- Interest in developing FinOps and cloud optimization skills
- Available for occasional travel across BBA offices
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
- Asset: experience in IT inventory management or procurement
- Asset: knowledge of Power BI, SQL or Python
- Asset: understanding of software licensing models
