Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an Agency Account Manager to own an established book of recurring clients for a fully remote role (USA or Canada). You will retain relationships, drive renewals, and uncover expansion opportunities across a seven-figure annual quota.

You’ll align with strategists and delivery teams to ensure clients hear one clear voice. The ideal candidate has agency account management experience, a proven track record of growing client spend, and comfort with a quota.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising is a must.
• Proven track record of keeping clients and selling them more work with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a quota and driving revenue growth.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own retention across your book, focusing on renewals and early warning signals.
• Identify upsells and expansion opportunities within each client. Drive project sell-in.
• Manage a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Collaborate with strategists and delivery teams to present a single, unified client voice.

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency running paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Agency Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
