Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency specializing in paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients, driven by a seven-figure annual quota for retention and upsells.

You will work with strategists and delivery teams to ensure clients hear one clear voice, and you will maintain strong relationships while identifying growth opportunities within each account. Remote work is available for USA or Canada.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, or advertising agency is required.
• Must have a track record of keeping clients and selling more work with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a quota and meeting growth targets.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow your book of recurring agency clients and renewals.
• Identify upsell opportunities and expand projects within each client.
• Meet and contribute to a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Coordinate with strategists and delivery teams to present a single, unified client voice.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
