Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency specializing in paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Agency Account Manager you own an established book of recurring clients, maintain relationships, and drive renewals.

You will work with the sales team to win new clients and with strategists and delivery teams to ensure a single voice. Base plus commission, split 50/50, with a seven-figure annual quota.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative, or advertising.
• Proven ability to retain clients and grow revenue with measurable results.
• Comfort with carrying a quota and selling additional work.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.


• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.


• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.


• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.


• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.


• Comfort carrying a quota.


• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
