Position Summary

Join Our Team as an Adult Day Service Worker at North Hills Care Centre in Kamloops!

We are currently seeking passionate and energetic Adult Day Service Workers to join our dedicated team at North Hills Care Centre in Kamloops! Nestled in the scenic Thompson River Valley, Kamloops offers a vibrant community with stunning natural beauty, outdoor recreational opportunities, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Your Role:

As an Adult Day Service Worker, you will work under the supervision of the Adult Day Centre Program Supervisor and within a client-centered model. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of an assigned group of clients, assisting them in carrying out established programs and activities of daily living tasks. You will implement and participate in activation, life skills, recreational, and social activities designed to meet the needs of clients, providing demonstrations as required. Your role includes adapting and modifying activities to meet the special needs of clients, setting up and organizing furnishings and equipment for programs and special events, accompanying clients to programs, teaching activity techniques, and overseeing participation while reporting any changes to the supervisor.

Qualfications
