Join our Cardiac Sciences team, which supports world class cardiac care in the Edmonton Zone and beyond! As the Administrative V, you will fill a key role supporting the Executive Director for Cardiac Sciences and the broader program in the Edmonton Zone. We are searching for an organized, driven, self-motivated and experienced individual to provide exceptional administrative support to the program. The incumbent will have exceptional communication & organizational skills, will be attentive to detail, feel comfortable making decisions and handling confidential information. The incumbent must be able to work both independently and within a team. The incumbent must be able to multi-task with efficiency and competence and be flexible to accommodate changing workload demands, working under the pressure of frequent deadlines. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative functions including calendar management, meeting organization, preparing and editing correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents, minute taking, supporting recruitment processes and assisting with clerical program tasks as well as other tasks that are required to support the program. As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Proficiency in all Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, VISIO, PowerPoint, Teams etc.). Experience writing speaking notes, developing presentations and creating templates required. Ability to collaborate with a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience in event and meeting planning, minute taking, and data entry is required.
