Harvie Instruments Ltd. has been a family-owned and operated staple in the Red Deer industrial community since 1967. We specialize in the sale, calibration, repair and rentals of oilfield equipment and instrumentation. Our office is a small, fast-paced environment where every team member plays a vital role in our collective success.

The Role:

We are looking for a versatile Administrative Assistant who enjoys a "many hats" environment. In a small office like ours, your day will be varied—moving from client interactions and phone management to essential record-keeping and technical documentation support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front-Line Communication: Professionally answer and route calls, manage the admin@harvieinstruments.ca inbox, and greet clients and vendors.
  • Billing & Invoicing: Generate, process, and file accurate invoices for sales, rentals, instrument calibration and repairs.
  • General Office Management: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems, manage office supply inventory, and coordinate outgoing mail/couriers.
  • Multi-Tasking Support: Assist with data entry for calibration certificates, update internal spreadsheets, and provide general support to the management and shop teams as needed.
