Our Calgary office is currently seeking a full-time experienced Accounting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be a career-focused individual that is excited to join a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial firm.

The Role
  • Calculate and prepare corporate year end files, corporate and personal tax returns, and other services including T4, T5, and GST for clients
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
  • Other accounting, data entry, and client service functions as needed.
What You Will Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in an Accounting Technician role in public practice, including preparation of Compilation financial statements and T2 tax returns
  • Recent experience with Caseware, Microsoft Office, and Tax Prep would be an asset
  • Able to communicate effectively with our clients
  • Able to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
